GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES
FBC Booneville is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. We take part in kingdom-building work by partnering with local, state, and global missions organizations. Read about our missions involvement below and see how you can get connected!
Local Missions
We encourage our church family to first and foremost live on mission for Christ in their everyday lives, among family, in their neighborhood, at work, at school, and in the broader community. We have some specific local mission opportunities and local ministry partnerships:
LOCAL FOOD PANTRY
The first and third Thursday of every month from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Prentiss County Baptist Association Office located at 400 Marietta Street in Booneville. For more information, call 662-728-6132.
ASSISTED LIVING OUTREACH
The local assisted living facilities and nursing homes provide a place where people from our church family visit, lead Bible studies, and offer special activities for the residents. If you would like to participate, please contact the church office and let us know!
BACKPACK MINISTRY
This ministry provides a weekend supply of food for children at Anderson Elementary School who depend on free and reduced lunch during the week. Check our church Facebook page and website for updates regarding how you can be involved in this ministry.
State Missions
MISSISSIPPI BAPTIST CHILDREN’S VILLAGE
FBC donates monthly to the Mississippi Baptist Children’s Village. The MBCV is an organization that ministers to families and children who have encountered difficult circumstances due to illness or poverty-related issues. The MBCV recognizes that the family unit is foundational to human society and aims to support families by aiding in restoring the family units in God’s love and grace. For information on how to contribute to the MBCV contact the church office.
Global Missions
We take seriously the command to "make disciples of all nations," and we pray for wisdom from the Word and the Spirit's guidance to one day have at least one mission partnership on each continent. Read below to see how you can be involved in the global missions effort of FBC Booneville.
BELIZE
In an ongoing partnership with a Christ-centered Vo-Tech school in Belize, alongside a woman within our church family who served there for 10 years, FBC provides monthly support, constant prayer, and periodic trips to serve in Belize. If you are interested in serving in Belize with us in the future, please let us know. We will keep you posted regarding dates for future mission service!
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Through Samaritan’s Purse our church and countless other churches across the nation donate items and boxes that are sent all over the world to bring the hope and joy of Christmas to children and families in need. Check the FBC Booneville website and Facebook page for updates regarding how you can be part of Operation Christmas Child.
