I want to thank all of you who helped defeat the proposal to legalize alcohol sales in Booneville. I appreciate your taking a stand on the matter, encouraging others to oppose the proposal, showing up for the rally on Sunday afternoon, and your going to vote on Tuesday. As a result of your faithfulness and commitment, as well as that of many others, we have defeated the proposal, helped protect our community, and have helped secure a better future. May God bless you!

Facing Our Fears
A man was walking down a country road. As he did so, he saw that in the distance the road made a sharp turn to the left. He reasoned that he could cut across the field on the left and save himself a lot of distance and time. As he prepared to climb the fence into the field, he saw a sign in the field that had been posted for persons like him. The sign read: “Do not cross this field unless you can do the 100-yard dash in 10.3 seconds or less. The bull can do it in 10.4.”

Camp Good News 2010
Camp Good News 2010 at Chickasaw State Park was LOADS of FUN! 15 campers, 1 counselor, and 1 Bible teacher returned Saturday, July 3 - at 12:45 p.m. - a little late - due to low tire pressure. But God - our Jehovah Jireh - PROVIDED a tire station right near camp, and we got fixed up and ready to go in no time. Good as new!

On Day 2 - we realized that we needed to GET FOUND! by Jesus - just like the lost sheep. Day 3 focused on GET LOVE! We need to reach out and show God's love to those around us. Day 4 reminded us to GET PRAYING! Don't give up. Keep knocking, keep praying, for the Lord really does hear and answer our prayers. And finally, on Day 5 - we were encouraged to GET GOING!
The Importance of Christian "Apps"
I love technology, don’t you? I’m glad that I’ve lived long enough to see computers become part of our daily lives, to have satellite dishes and video recorders give us freedom in what we choose to see when we want to see it, and to have, not only cell phones, but smart phones.
